Today is November 10th. This is not a day of farewell; it is a day of the first step taken, the first torch lit, and the millions who have sworn to walk in those footsteps. History records those who leave a trace, but only a few traces truly transcend time. The legacy left behind by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is far greater than the borders on a map. That legacy lives on in the light of science, the values of the Republic, the passion for independence, and—above all—in the sheer determination reflecting in the eyes of the youth filling this hall today. We do not gather on November 10th to mourn. We gather to question where we stand along his path, and to ask ourselves how many steps forward we have taken into the future. When he said, "My humble body will surely turn to dust one day, but the Republic of Türkiye will stand forever," this is exactly the responsibility he entrusted to us. We are here today because that trace has not faded. We are here today because we are not just followers of his path—we are that path itself!
