THE ELC GUIDANCE UNIT DELIVERED A PRESENTATION ON “SEXUAL DEVELOPMENT AND PRIVACY EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AGED 3–6” FOR OUR PARENTS 11.03.2026

During this session, important topics such as children’s age-appropriate developmental characteristics, body awareness, privacy, personal boundaries, and helping children express themselves safely were addressed. Our aim is to support families in developing a deeper understanding of their children’s developmental processes, to establish a common language with parents before providing Sexual Development and Privacy Education to our children, and to offer healthy guidance throughout this process. Planned within the integrity of our K–12 approach, these studies constitute an important part of Işıkkent Educational Campus’s guidance philosophy. The session was conducted by our preschool guidance unit with the active participation of our families and was completed with a question-and-answer section and a warm, sincere atmosphere of sharing. We believe in the strength of school-family cooperation in supporting our children’s growth as healthy, safe, and aware individuals, and we sincerely thank our parents for their interest and participation.
