SUCCESSFUL RESULTS FROM IŞIKKENT AT THE IZMIR INTERSCHOOL ATHLETICS COMPETITIONS 27.02.2026

A total of 17 students from our Little Girls, Little Boys, and Junior Boys teams represented our school at the Izmir Interschool Athletics Competitions held at Atatürk Stadium. Over the course of the two-day event, our students achieved notable results with their strong performances. During the competitions: • Mercan Güldoğan placed third in İzmir in the 800 meters, • Kuzey Eren Öztürk became İzmir champion in the high jump, • Mete Kurt placed fourth in İzmir in the 1000 meters, • Gökçe Mavi Samuray placed third in İzmir in the ball throw, • Ozan Azmak became İzmir champion in the shot put and third in İzmir in the javelin throw. In addition, our Little Boys team won second place in İzmir in the 5 × 60 meter relay, earning their medals on the podium. At the end of the two-day competition, our Little Boys team finished third overall in İzmir, qualifying for the Turkey Group Competitions to be held in April. We congratulate our students and our teacher who contributed to this success, and wish them continued achievements.
