PERSPECTIVES ON THE ERA IN WHICH 1984 WAS WRITTEN 21.09.2026

As part of the TITC course, three of our Grade 12 IB students delivered an interactive presentation to our Grade 10 students on key historical events that shaped the period in which George Orwell wrote 1984. Exploring the period from different perspectives, our students examined the connections between major global developments of the time and the events they triggered around the world. The activity enabled students to approach historical events from multiple perspectives and evaluate global developments within their broader historical context.
