OUR PREP STUDENTS VISITED BADEMLER COOPERATIVE AND SEED PRESERVATION CENTER 28.11.2025

As part of interdisciplinary excursions, our high school preparatory students visited Seferihisar Bademler Development Cooperative and the Can Yücel Seed Preservation Center. At the Bademler Cooperative, our students learned about the principles of cooperativism and toured the olive oil factory and production greenhouses. They had the opportunity to witness firsthand the journey of olives from harvest to production, observing each step of the olive oil transformation process. They then explored the greenhouses, where they observed how flowers and vegetables are cultivated. Students also visited the Can Yücel Seed Preservation Center operated by the Seferihisar Municipality, where agricultural engineers informed them about the importance of heirloom seeds and how seeds are collected and reproduced at the center. This trip, which gave our students the chance to experience nature’s treasures through multiple senses, also contributed to their enjoyable learning experience while supporting ongoing studies related to the theme of “Sustainability” in English and Turkish Language & Literature classes.
