OLIVE TASTING DAY: A JOURNEY THAT BEGAN WITH PATIENCE, CELEBRATED AT THE TABLE 26.11.2025

As part of our project “The story of an olive begins with patience,” we had been exploring the journey of olives step by step — from the branch to the jar. This week, we finally reached the long-awaited moment: the tasting stage. Our children had the chance to taste the olives they had carefully picked and prepared themselves. During the tasting, some noticed the saltiness, others focused on the texture, and some paid attention to the smell, engaging in a sensory evaluation. This enjoyable experience allowed the children to feel how the journey they began with patience was completed with flavor. It showed them firsthand how effort, patience, and production can turn into happiness at the table.
