LEARNING BEYOND CLASSROOMS: A CROSS-GRADE COLLABORATION 27.02.2026

As part of a collaborative learning initiative, secondary and primary pupils came together for an interdisciplinary activity. Year 9 pupils visited Year 3 classrooms to take part in age-appropriate discussions and collaborative sessions focused on cause-and-effect relationships in nature. The programme encouraged enquiry, open-ended dialogue and peer learning, while supporting younger pupils in expressing their ideas with confidence. Following the visit, Year 9 pupils completed a reflective classroom task, linking their experience to interdisciplinary learning outcomes. The activity highlighted the power of perspective, collaboration and knowledge-sharing across year groups.
