LEARNING ABOUT OUR RIGHTS, TALKING ABOUT PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE 10.06.2026

As part of our Grade 2 “How the World Works” Unit of Inquiry and our classroom studies on Rights, Equality, Justice, and Living Together in Peace, our students participated in a meaningful and engaging learning experience. During the event, we welcomed attorney İrem Girenes Yücesoy as our guest speaker. She led an inspiring discussion on children's rights, fairness, equality, and empathy, encouraging students to reflect on these important concepts through real-life examples. Throughout the session, our students learned about their own rights while also discovering the importance of respecting the rights of others. Through interactive games and question-and-answer activities, they had the opportunity to share their ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and deepen their understanding of what it means to live together in a fair and peaceful community. We thank Ms. Yücesoy for her valuable contribution to our students’ learning and for helping make this experience both meaningful and memorable.
