INTERCULTURAL EXPLORATION: A MEANINGFUL ACTIVITY BY OUR GRADE 1 STUDENTS 27.04.2026

Our Grade 1 students carried out a meaningful activity in line with the central idea of their 5th unit: “People express themselves using different forms of social and cultural communication through celebrations and art.” With the support of our international teachers, students had the opportunity to explore the cultural richness of different countries. As part of the event, countries such as Scotland, England, Australia, Malaysia, China, and Spain were introduced. Students learned about these countries’ flags, important celebrations, as well as the purposes and timing of these events. They also gained insights into traditional clothing, food, and dances, and had the chance to experience dances from different cultures. Through this fun and interactive activity, our students not only discovered diverse cultures but also took an important step toward developing their global awareness.
