"IF I HAD 1 MILLION DOLLARS" 06.05.2026

Grade 7 students recently presented their MYP criteria-based task, "If I Had 1 Million Dollars," to an audience of parents, classmates, and teachers. Over the course of two months, students engaged in this interdisciplinary unit bridging Mathematics and English, which fostered essential skills in communication, critical thinking, and research. Throughout the project, students learned to manage budgets, generate statistical charts, write opinion essays, and deliver engaging presentations. This academic work was paired with a deep dive into empathy as they studied the novel Trash by Andy Mulligan. We congratulate our students on the bravery and commitment they demonstrated in completing this ambitious assignment.
