GRADE 8 STUDENTS “FOLLOWING IN ATATÜRK’S FOOTSTEPS”: FROM ANITKABİR TO CAPPADOCIA 22.04.2026

Our Grade 8 students began their journey under the theme “Following in Atatürk’s Footsteps” with a meaningful start. At their first stop, Anıtkabir, they attended an official ceremony, stood in respectful silence before the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and expressed their gratitude. These special moments allowed our students to connect more deeply with the values of the Republic. Following their visit to Ankara, our students continued on to Cappadocia, where they experienced its enchanting atmosphere. Exploring fairy chimneys, underground cities, and unique natural landscapes, they enjoyed an unforgettable trip that combined learning and discovery. This meaningful journey not only strengthened our students’ awareness of history, culture, and nature, but also deepened their friendships. As they set out “in Atatürk’s footsteps,” they explored the traces of the past while moving forward with greater awareness toward the future.
