GEOLOGICAL WONDERS & ANCIENT CITIES: A LEARNING JOURNEY IN KULA 27.11.2025

Our 10th grade students visited Kula, also known as the “Burnt Country,” famous for its volcanic landscape. Throughout the trip, they explored fairy chimney formations shaped by volcanic terrain along with temperature changes, rain, wind, and erosion. They also toured the historical Kula houses, the Kula Geopark, and Sardes—the first place where coins were minted. During this educational journey, students had the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge they learned in Mathematics and Geography lessons. The trip allowed them to experience both the natural and historical beauty of Kula firsthand.
