EXPLORING AND INQUIRING ON WORLD FOOD DAY! 16.10.2026

Our ELC students celebrated World Food Day through engaging learning experiences focused on food cultures, healthy eating, and mindful consumption. During our “Food Around the World Guessing Game” in the Piazza, students explored foods from different countries and inquired into how food connects people and cultures. In their classrooms, students explored how healthy foods support our bodies and compared pizza traditions from around the world. Through the “Step Inside” thinking routine, they imagined themselves as different foods and reflected on food waste, mindful consumption, and balanced nutrition. Their ideas were displayed on the cafeteria tables and shared with our school community. We celebrated World Food Day by exploring, asking questions, and reflecting on how our choices can make a difference!
