CHILDHOOD FROM PAST TO PRESENT 11.05.2026

The Işıkkent Schools Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir gave the audience an emotional and unforgettable evening with their performance “Ya Çocukluk…” held at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center. 🎶 Conducted and arranged by Tolga Taviş, the concert explored the theme “Childhood Defying Time,” reflecting on childhood through the past and present, and the emotions that remain unchanged despite changing times. The text written by Sultan Topçu came to life on stage through the powerful narration of theatre artist Hakan Bilgin, while the Işıkkent Youth Choir, coached by Canan Atak, Duygu Elgün, and Gizem Çelik, created unforgettable moments for the audience with their performances. 🎭🎼 Blending music, storytelling, and stage design, the performance took the audience on an inner journey through their own childhood memories and emotions.
