CELEBRATING WORLD WATER DAY IN PRIMARY SCHOOL 30.03.2026

We celebrated World Water Day across all primary grade levels through rich and engaging learning experiences. Our students explored the importance of water through a variety of activities, expressing their ideas through drawings, writing, poetry, role-play, and posters. By examining hidden water consumption, they discovered how much water is used unconsciously in daily life and investigated global inequalities in access to clean water. They also designed experimental systems for water purification and calculated their water footprints, discussing ways to reduce water usage. All these learning experiences were brought together in an exhibition, allowing students to share their processes and insights with one another. The experience was further enriched by a performance connected to World Theatre Day, highlighting the importance of water in an impactful way. Through this process, our students developed a strong awareness of the essential role of water in our lives and the importance of taking conscious steps toward a more sustainable future.
