AN INTERNATIONAL AWARD FROM GLOBAL SOCIAL LEADERS FOR OUR PATHFINDERS TEAM! 22.06.2026

Our High School Global Social Leaders (GSL) team, Pathfinders, has received the Global Social Leaders 2025–2026 Partnership and Collaboration Award for their Bayramlı Village Library Project. Since September, our students have dedicated themselves to this project as part of their after-school GSL activities. Their commitment and impact were recognized by an international panel of experts in social leadership and community engagement. The GSL leadership team and jury especially commended the Pathfinders for their collaboration with civil society, their positive social impact, and their efforts to create a sustainable community library. During the GSL Festival, our students also had the opportunity to present their project live to the international Global Social Leaders community. Our GSL students extend their heartfelt thanks to the Efeler Yolu coordinators at Ege University for inspiring their journey; to the Işıkkent students and families who supported the book drives; to the Işıkkent Junior Achievement Club for providing stationery sets for the village children; to the people of Bayramlı Village and its village head, Ms. Selmiye Çelik, for their warm hospitality; and to the Işıkkent Education Campus leadership for supporting them every step of the way. As they celebrate this international recognition, our Pathfinders team is excited to continue developing new projects for the Bayramlı Village Library and its children in the coming year.
