AN INSPIRING TALK WITH ICE SWIMMER EDA SAVCIGİL 04.05.2026

We were delighted to welcome Eda Savcıgil to our school for an inspiring talk. During the session, Eda shared her journey into ice swimming, her preparation process for competitions, and the discipline required throughout her training. Throughout the talk, she emphasized that ice swimming, performed under extremely challenging weather conditions, requires both physical and mental endurance. She highlighted the importance of consistent practice, patience, determination, and maintaining strong motivation in order to achieve success. She also spoke about how she prepares for competitions, the key elements she focuses on during training, and the sources of inspiration that keep her motivated. In addition, Savcıgil shared how she celebrates her achievements after competitions. At the end of the presentation, she sincerely answered our questions and once again reminded us of the importance of sports, setting goals, and working with perseverance. The talk was both highly informative and inspiring for all of us. We would like to thank Eda Savcıgil for visiting our school and sharing her valuable experiences with us.
