A MEANINGFUL ASSEMBLY WHERE WE EXPERIENCED SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND COLLABORATION 06.02.2026

As part of the unit “How We Organize Ourselves,” we held a meaningful assembly activity. Through this event, we learned by experiencing the concepts of social responsibility and collaboration. During the activity, students worked in small groups. After watching an informative video, our 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade students had the opportunity to get to know non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and explore their contributions to society. In our studies, we focused on EÇEV, HAYTAP, the Aegean Forest Foundation, LÖSEV, the Koruncuk Foundation, and the Association for the Protection of Cultural and Ecological Life. Throughout this process, we practiced collaboration while also developing a sense of individual responsibility. Through the donations collected, we supported NGOs and experienced the importance of solidarity and social awareness. This meaningful assembly enabled us to connect learning with real life and helped us take an important step toward becoming empathetic, responsible, and conscious individuals.
