A JOURNEY TO THE FUTURE IN GRADE 3: THE FUTURE HUNTER PRESENTATION 10.03.2026

As part of our Grade 3 unit “Cause-and-Effect Relationships in Nature,” our activity was organized around the central idea: “Experiments and observations help us understand cause-and-effect relationships in nature and enable us to develop solutions for everyday life.” The event took place with an inspiring presentation by our valued parent Selcen Uyguntüzel. During the presentation, students explored sustainability, investment, and the opportunities of the future through discussions about innovative companies and projects that may gain importance in the coming years. While discovering how projects that protect nature and the world are developed, our students also realized that such initiatives can both contribute to the future of our planet and create value. At the end of the activity, students used their imagination to envision the year 2041 and selected a potential problem that could arise in the future. They then imagined how this problem might be solved through technological tools and innovative ideas, creating short future scenarios. These scenarios were later brought to life through role-play and gamification. Throughout this process, students developed their creative thinking, collaboration, and communication skills, actively engaging in the learning experience as inquirers who question, research, and think about the future.
