22ND TRADITIONAL IŞIKKENT SWIMMING FESTIVAL 21.05.2026

Hosted by Işıkkent Schools, the 22nd Traditional Swimming Festival brought together young athletes for a day filled with excitement, sportsmanship, and the spirit of fair play. In addition to students from Işıkkent Primary School, participants included MEF International School, Bahçeşehir College Bornova Campus, İTK, Private Ege Primary School, Uğur Schools, and İTÜ Development Foundation Schools. A total of 185 athletes from seven schools took part in the festival, competing in four swimming disciplines: butterfly, backstroke, freestyle, and breaststroke. For many of our first-grade students, this event marked their very first swimming competition. The enthusiastic support of families, friends, and teachers from the stands created unforgettable moments filled with pride and encouragement. Throughout the festival, students not only enjoyed the thrill of competition but also experienced the unifying power of sport. We would like to thank all participating schools, athletes, and everyone who contributed to the success of this wonderful event.
