MARCH 18 – ÇANAKKALE VICTORY AND MARTYRS’ COMMEMORATION DAY 13.03.2026

The commemoration program titled “Silent Poppies: Heroes of the Quiet Soil,” prepared by our Grade 7 students in honor of the March 18 Çanakkale Martyrs, offered the audience an unforgettable and deeply emotional experience. Like the poppies blooming from the silent soil, our students brought to the stage the memory of the unnamed heroes who gave their lives for this homeland. Through poems, narrations, dances, and staged performances, the traces of the epic written in Çanakkale were once again profoundly felt. In every word there was sacrifice; in every scene, love for the homeland… The silent heroes of Çanakkale came to life once again in the red of the poppies. Our students commemorated all the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this cause—especially Mustafa Kemal Atatürk—with respect, gratitude, and everlasting appreciation.
