VISIT TO THE REPUBLIC EDUCATION MUSEUM 15.06.2026

As part of the transdisciplinary theme “How the World Works,” our Grade 2 students have been exploring the concepts of rights, equality, and justice. To deepen their understanding of the right to education and to gain insight into the evolution of educational practices over time, they visited the Republic Education Museum. During the visit, students had the opportunity to examine historical classroom settings, teaching tools, and educational materials used in past generations. By observing how educational opportunities and learning environments have changed over time, they developed a greater appreciation for the importance of education in the lives of individuals and societies. Throughout the experience, our students reflected on the value of the right to education for every child. They compared similarities and differences between past and present educational practices, sharing their observations and insights along the way. This meaningful experience helped them connect the concepts of rights, equality, and justice explored in their unit to real-life examples. Both educational and enjoyable, this field trip extended learning beyond the classroom and provided our students with memorable experiences that will enrich their understanding for years to come.
