MUSIC WALL PROJECT: FROM EXPLORING SOUND TO DESIGNING 03.03.2026

As ELC students, we are thrilled to have completed our Music Wall as part of our Art and Piazza projects. We began our inquiry by asking, “How is sound produced?” and “Which materials can create sound?” Guided by our curiosity, we explored different materials, observing rhythm, vibration, and volume. We predicted, experimented, and gradually refined our designs through trial and reflection. After collaboratively creating our initial Music Wall, we consulted with our music teacher to deepen our understanding. We asked for guidance on how the placement of materials could improve sound quality. With this expert feedback, we revisited and adjusted our design, resulting in a more functional wall that produces richer and clearer sounds. Throughout this project, our students actively practiced collaboration, problem-solving, and reflection. We observed how exploration, experimentation, and receiving feedback strengthened our learning. The Music Wall is not just a product; it is a tangible reflection of our research, creativity, and collective thinking processes, allowing us to deepen our learning through play and hands-on experience.
