“MIGRATION IS NOT JUST A FAREWELL, BUT A NEW BEGINNING” 24.02.2026

The program titled “Ours Is a Migration Story,” organized with the contributions of our Grade 6 and 7 students, was filled with deeply moving moments. Through poems, theatrical performances, and musical presentations, our students brought migration stories from past to present to the stage. The program placed particular emphasis on the Turkish–Greek Population Exchange, portraying the separations, hopes, and new beginnings experienced by families during this period. Real-life stories shared by our parents and teachers deeply moved the audience. By highlighting that migration is not merely a physical relocation but also a process of carrying cultures forward, preserving memories, and beginning anew with strength, our students once again reminded us that the values brought by migration are a source of richness for our society.
