GRADE 1 DESIGNING MY CITY INTERDISCIPLINARY PROJECT EXHIBITION 14.01.2026

As part of the “How We Organize Ourselves” unit, we participated in a project that provided an interdisciplinary learning experience. In the ICT lesson, we programmed Bee-Bots and navigated them across a city mat. The Bee-Bots followed predetermined routes to complete tasks, and the activities were presented to our classmates. In Art lessons, we created city models using recycled materials. Each class designed the buildings that would be included in the city and presented their designs during the ICT lesson. In the BCT lesson, we completed the city project by designingtraffic signs and direction boards. These signs not only helped organize the city but also played a key role in determining the Bee-Bot’s routes. During the presentation and sharing phase, weexplored the city using the Bee-Bots, tested their projects, and had the opportunity to observe and evaluate how their designed city functioned.
