A MEANINGFUL MEETING WITH EÇEV ON EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES IN EDUCATION 03.06.2026

As part of the PYP Exhibition process, our action group, whose central idea focuses on poverty, brought representatives from the Aegean Contemporary Education Foundation (EÇEV) together with our school community. The event aimed to help students connect their learning with real-life issues while strengthening their sense of social responsibility. During the presentation, our students learned about EÇEV’s efforts to promote equal opportunities in education and explored the responsibilities that individuals and communities can undertake to help reduce educational inequality. Our guests supported the students’ action-oriented learning journey by encouraging them to develop greater awareness of social issues and guiding them in discovering meaningful ways to contribute to positive change. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for our students to deepen their understanding of social responsibility and the importance of ensuring access to quality education for all.
