BAYRAKLI SMYRNA ANCIENT CITY TRIP 28.11.2025

We visited the Bayraklı Smyrna Ancient City in Izmir to explore how natural and human factors shape the lives of communities. During our trip, we observed how people lived in the past, how they built their homes and marketplaces, and how they organised their city based on the natural environment. Archaeologist Ms Senem explained how Smyrna changed over time and how people adapted to these changes. This history-rich experience helped us gain new insights into ancient civilisations and deepened our understanding of the relationship between geographical conditions and human life. Throughout the visit, we made meaningful connections and continued to grow as curious, enthusiastic inquirers.
