IŞIKKENT SEAGULL SOARING IN THE SKIES! 29.01.2026

Our weekly bulletin, “Campus News” is once again continuing its journey under its former name, “Işıkkent Seagull.” The seagull that forms our logo symbolizes freedom, a dynamic spirit reaching toward wide horizons, and an aesthetic shaped by thoughtful design. In our logo, the green reflected on its wings (nature’s greenery) represents kindergarten, yellow (the sun) represents primary education, and blue (the sky merging on the horizon) represents high school. In other words, the Işıkkent Seagull, intertwined with the power and beauty of nature, points humanity toward what lies further ahead and higher above. Within this framework, at Işıkkent we see education as a liberating journey and believe that the strongest foundation of a brighter tomorrow lies in individuals who think freely, have open horizons, remain curious, and walk courageously toward the future. Each week, the Işıkkent Seagull will share developments, achievements, announcements, and inspiring moments from our campus, while also serving as a bridge that brings our nearly 30-year educational philosophy and our “Shape the Future” vision into dialogue with today. Because the best way to predict the future is to create it.
